The Greatest Love Story

We are all born with a sinful nature
But in Your great love, You sent Jesus, our Savior
Who radically transformed our behavior
And though sometimes we may fall
We can still stand tall
Knowing that we can obtain mercy

See, we were once sinners
But You have made us winners by Your Grace
And it’s Your face we seek
And I pray that you would help us be meek
In this world where talk is cheap

And though sometimes we may weep
That’s when you speak to us.
Because joy comes in the morning
And I declare, Lord, that our days of mourning are over

You loved us first
So we love you
And as we await your return
May the way we live our lives
Be a loving reply, saying: “thank you.”
