In the Garden

This moment could be the start of something new
As we watch and admire a new dawn’s view.
Though Cumulus clouds shift away from you,
Be very careful what you do.

Because even though the rain has stopped,
There is still a mountaintop to climb.
And walking through the trees and multicolored leaves,
You’ll hear and see
Me whispering
My songs of hope and love.

So when you’re tired and weak,
And reached your supposed peak,
Carrying a big burden,
Just remember me
And how I saved thee,
In the unforgiving garden.
