Be My Everything
Poetry

Be my brother, be my friend
Be my sister till the end.
For I searched for a non-existent panacea to make myself whole,
But realized, only you can save my soul.
Oh, be my everything.
Be my father and I’ll be your son,
Be my mother, let your will be done.
For the storm came and I ran to hide,
But you were my shelter despite my pride
Oh, be my everything.
Be my constant in the unknown,
Be my true north, be my home.
For wandering through rocky roads day and night was rough.
But guided by you I am more than enough.
Oh, be my everything.
Today.
Tomorrow.
Forever.
